JIIT Sector 62: Shielding Digital Natives from a World of Scams
On 29th October 2025, EnfoldAI conducted a Cybersecurity Awareness Drive at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Sector 62, engaging students and faculty in discussions around digital safety and cyber awareness.
As digital platforms become central to education and communication, students are increasingly exposed to cyber risks. This session was designed to help participants understand those risks and build safer digital habits early on.
Key Topics Covered During the Session
The awareness drive focused on real-world digital threats that students often encounter without realizing the risk involved.
- Hidden scam messages that often go unnoticed are detected early by EnfoldAI through intelligent scanning.
- Fraudulent links received via SMS and messaging platforms are identified and flagged by EnfoldAI before users interact with them.
- OTP-based scams and social engineering attempts are recognized using EnfoldAI behavioral analysis.
- Messages designed to create urgency or fear are detected as high-risk patterns by EnfoldAI .
- Early threat detection by EnfoldAI helps prevent financial loss before any damage occurs.
Many participants were surprised to realize that suspicious or fraudulent messages had already reached their phones without being noticed.
Strong Engagement and Student Curiosity
The session witnessed strong engagement from students, with open discussions around digital safety, fraud prevention, and online behavior. Many participants shared personal experiences involving scam messages or suspicious links.
Several students expressed interest in installing EnfoldAI and asked whether a similar version would be available for iPhone users as well.
The curiosity and participation reflected a growing awareness and need for simple digital safety tools.
Awareness That Led to Realization
A key outcome of the session was the realization among students that many cyber threats operate silently and often go unnoticed until damage is done.
The discussion helped participants understand how easily one can fall victim without awareness, and why proactive protection plays a critical role in today’s digital environment.
Awareness turned into realization — and realization into responsibility.
The session concluded with students reflecting on how easily digital risks can go unnoticed in everyday life — and how important it is to be protected before something goes wrong.
The idea of being enfolded by digital protection resonated strongly with the audience. They understood that safety is not about reacting after a loss, but about being quietly protected in the background.
For many students, the session changed the way they viewed cybersecurity — not as a technical burden, but as something that should enfold them, guide them, and keep them safe as they navigate the digital world.
Because real security isn’t loud — it simply enfolds you when you need it most.
